Weihai Economic and Technological Development Zone is a state-level development zone approved by the State Council on Oct 21，1992. The administrative area is 194km2, including the programmed area of 36km2 and the initialarea of 11.88km2. There are 10 administrative bureaus, 3 sub-district offices and 94 administrative villages under its jurisdiction. It has a total population over 100,000. In the Zone, there are Industrial Park, Export Processing Zone, Bonded Area, Finance and Trade District, Residential District, Travelling and Recuperative District.
